Young People

Young people are valuable members of our community and enrich us with their faith, passion for justice and challenging questions. They regularly read in church, play instruments, lead prayers, raise money and act in musicals and pantomimes.

We welcome all secondary aged pupils to our well-established Youth Group and invite Year 6s to join us for a taster session before they start Year 7. We meet twice a month: on the second Sunday in church during the 10am service for small group Bible study and discussion, and from 5-7pm on the third Sunday in the Youth Project room (round the back of the All Saints Centre) for games, debates, outside speakers, arts and crafts and we always share a meal together. Our young people have recently discussed and prayed for refugees and explored ‘How to stay out of A & E’ with a focus on supporting good mental health.

We also care for our community by doing litter picks, sleeping out for the homeless, and enjoy social events such as bowling, BBQs, film and pizza nights.  We camp with All Saints at the annual Greenbelt Festival.

Current youth leaders (all DBS checked) are Jenny and David Warbrick, Juliet Bick, Lynn Busfield and Sam Mackie.
